Welcome!

Women and Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender (LGBT) Services is open to all students, faculty and staff to learn, explore and meet new people in a safe and welcoming environment.  We are available to do workshops, programming and events for your classes, student organizations and departments.   We are also working on updating our resource library, including magazine subscriptions, books and movies to be available for research, pleasure reading or personal interest.  Please feel free to peruse our online resources by clicking the links to the left or stop by the office to say hi!

Twogether Workshop

Twogether in Texas workshops are skills-based marriage preparation classes to provide couples with the tools needed to manage the inevitable challenges found in every relationship. The classes consist of 8 hours of fun, interactive training focusing on communication skills, conflict management, and other key elements of a healthy marriage. We desire that couples learn to love for life! Lunch is provided.

Nov. 17 & 18 from 5-8pm and Nov. 20 from 1:30 – 3:30pm, the play will be held on Feb. 19, 2010

Transgender Day of Remembrance “Vagina Monologues” 2010 Auditions

This day is to honor those members of the worldwide Transgender community who have been killed due to hate and violence and to raise awareness of the magnitude of the violence and the need for more inclusive hate crimes laws.

LGBT Support Group

4:00 - 5:00 pm Tuesdays, Begining September 8

 

This group is a safe place for LGBT students, family and friends to share experiences and discuss concerns.

 

It is not necessary to sign-up and you may attend as often as you like.
