Support from our community partners allows UHCL to offer outstanding learning and leadership opportunities to our students and the community. Many organizations choose to support various programs, scholarships, institutes, exhibits.
Contributions by organizations help enhance existing programs, implement innovative ideas and provide vital scholarship support.
Each year the President selects one or more businesses, educational institutions, government agencies, and/or non-profit organizations to receive the Community Partner Award, which is presented each March during the President's Report to the Community
The annual Report to the Community is an opportunity for the President to convey the university's current status to the Bay Area Houston community and to publicly honor organizations that have significantly contributed to the University of Houston-Clear Lake. Each year at least one organization is chosen based on financial support and their commitment to partnership with the university.
