Community Partners Council
The Community Partners Council, formerly known as Development and Advisory Council, serves as the principal external advisory board to the university president. Membership of the CPC includes university friends and community partners from businesses, educational institutions, government agencies and other non-profits. CPC members share insight into ways in which the university can serve them, and, in turn, how they, too, can help the university.
The CPC’s work focuses on assessing current and future activities in three main UHCL initiatives:
-
STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math), including aerospace;
-
Health professions; and
-
Teacher preparation and educational leadership.
In addition to providing input in these key areas, CPC will be involved in UHCL’s future development and will continue to assist UHCL in succeeding as a partnership-oriented, community-minded university.
