Development and Advisory Council

The Development and Advisory Council serves as the principal external advisory body to the university president. Members, who number more than 50, share their insights, resources and time by talking to other leaders in their respective fields and introducing them to the ways in which the university can serve them, and, in turn, how they, too, can help the university. D&A Council continues to focus on fund-raising and community outreach initiatives as well as assists UHCL in succeeding as a partnership-oriented, community-minded university.  In 2001, it established the UHCL Development and Advisory Council Scholarship Endowment to support students.
