Office of Communications

UH-Clear Lake’s Office of Communications, a part of the Office of University Advancement, promotes university relations by communicating UHCL news, information and messages to key constituents.

Communications staff members provide a broad range of services in the areas of media relations, publications, online publishing projects and institutional identity. In addition to producing and distributing an average of 30 news releases every month, the office produces UHCL’s bi-annual magazine, Egret, and the university’s annual Report to the Community. It also coordinates general institutional advertising in an array of business, community and news organizations’ communication vehicles. Additionally, the office works with its sister institutions on system-wide marketing communications initiatives.
