UH-Clear Lake receives Exxon Mobil grant
Exxon Mobil Corporation’s Corporate Business Services IT Manager Margaret Russell presented a $5,600 check to University of Houston-Clear Lake administrators during the Gulf Coast Job Fair at the university. UH-Clear Lake is one of 85 colleges and universities throughout the country who received a portion of $2 million departmental grants awarded by the Exxon Mobil Corporation. The grant allows selected academic departments to allocate the money for various educational purposes including scholarships, field trips, visiting speakers, equipment purchases, student and faculty travel to academic-related activities and other educational projects. The grants are awarded to schools that offer degrees in subjects from which it recruits employees. Pictured at the Exxon Mobil career booth are UH-Clear Lake School of Business Dean William T.
