University of Houston-Clear Lake celebrated Veterans Day with a special ceremony that included the Presentation of Colors and a variety of speakers who discussed the meaning behind the special day. Guests also viewed memorabilia from World War I, World War II, Korea, Vietnam and the Middle East. During the ceremony, UH-Clear Lake Associate Professor of Legal Studies Jim Benson (l) presented a UH-Clear Lake proclamation to U.S. Army Brig. Gen. Jimmie Wells. The proclamation offered the university’s appreciation to the men and women of the 1st Brigade, 75th Battle Command Training Division, U.S. Army Reserve and their families for “their service to our nation and this community.”.
