University of Houston-Clear Lake’s Office of Student Life celebrated 20 years of chili cook-off’s’ with “Chili Cook-off to the 20th Degree” in early April. Attendees had the chance to taste a wide variety of chili, do a little karaoke, hang out with friends or participate in the many other amusements available. The UH-Clear Lake Women’s Studies Student Association’s “The Funky Chili.” won first place in judged chili as well as Most Popular Chili and Cook’s Choice, which they shared with another organization.
