The Vice President for Office of Sponsored Programs annually issues a “Statement for Administrative Responsibilities for Research Activities” indicating policy guidance concerning such issues as a safe working environment, use of controlled substances, human and animal subject research, misconduct in science and other scholarly activities, objectivity in research, oversight of students and/or employees, ethics policy, sponsored projects, the University’s Intellectual Property Policy, visiting scholar agreements and consulting.
