Campus Map and Directions

| The University website features a campus map and driving direction to the campus.
To better display the location of UHCL and the Delta Building, which houses the Computer Science department, we feature below a sequence of four Google Earth satellite maps. The sequence begins with a map of Greater Houston and ends with a map of the UHCL campus. |

| The first map is an overview of the greater Houston area. It shows the relationship between Houston, Clear Lake, and Galveston. Clear Lake is a southeastern suburb of Houston. Note that there are two loops in Houston: 610 is the Inner Loop and Beltway 8 is the Outer Loop. Highway I-45, the Gulf Freeway, connects Houston to Dallas (North) and Clear Lake (South).
The second map focuses on the Clear Lake area, showing the Hobby airport. Houston has two major airports. The larger airport, the International Airport-Houston is 15 miles north of downtown Houston.
The third map magnifies the UHCL. campus. It displays UHCL with respect to Highway I-45. NASA Johnson Space Center and the Armand Bayou Nature Center are UHCL neighbors. Note that you can take the Bay Area Blvd. Exit (#26) on I-45 and follow Bay Area Boulevard for about 3.4 miles to reach UHCL. The official address of UHCL is 2700 Bay Area Boulevard. This map and the next one show UHCL in a large green area. UHCL has one of the most beautiful campuses in Texas..

The final map shows the main buildings on the UHCL campus. The high-altitude photo is somewhat dated; it shows only a green area where the Student Services building (built in 2005) now stands. The Horsepen Bayou separates the Delta Building and the Bayou Building and leads to Armand Bayou. There is a nature trail on the campus.
