Welcome to the Computer Engineering program, part of the School of Science and Computer Engineering at the University of Houston-Clear Lake. The Computer Engineering (CEng) program offers a Computer Engineering Master of Science and a Computer Engineering Bachelor of Science for students interested in a career developing Computer Engineering (CEng).
The Computer Engineering program prepares students to assume leading roles developing and using computers and computer systems. It emphasizes the evaluation, design, and implementation of computers and networks. Students also design and customize software for various applications.
Current specializations include advanced system architecture, computer control systems, digital signal processing, and telecommunications. The program consists of formal courses, laboratory work, and faculty- guided research in one of the specialty areas.
