1. Select a committee chair. Form committee. Receive approval of the committee by the Deans office. Develop a proposal. Defend the proposal.
2. Receive approval of your proposal by the Dean's office.

Most students forget to stay on top of getting signatures at critical points. Remember, the student is responsible for obtaining all signatures. Take time to double check registration and approval forms and make sure you have all the signatures. You will save yourself a lot of headaches.
