Environmental Science Program (ENSC) 

Environmental Science is the study of how the parts of nature and human societies operate and interact. It is devoted to the preservation of natural resources and biodiversity for sustainable development, and the control of biological, chemical and physical agents in the environment (air, water, soil, and groundwater) to prevent adverse effects on human and other living organisms.

 
Environmental Science - Bachelor of Science (BS)
Students must specialize in one of the following areas:
In addition, the program prepares graduates for further academic training in the Environmental Sciences. Students qualify to take professional certification examinations in occupational health and safety.
 
Environmental Science - Master of Science (MS)
The graduate plan, with its interdisciplinary approach, prepares students for opportunities in government and the private sector. Graduates of the plan may also pursue further academic training in environmental sciences and occupational health. Students must specialize in one of the following areas:
