The UHCL Physics Club is a UHCL Student Organization established to promote interest in the fields of Physics, Astronomy, and the Physical Sciences and introduce members to possible fields of research, related careers, and additional education within the University, the Clear Lake community, and beyond. Our objective is to mentor students and assist them to achieve their goals. |

Membership in the Physics Club is open to all interested UHCL students in the School of Science and Computer Engineering, faculty, and staff. Non-UHCL students as well as students, faculty, and staff who are not part of the School of Science and Computer Engineering may join the Physics Club for a ‘per semester’ fee designated in the UHCL Physics Club Charter (Current Fee: $10.00 per semester or $20.00 for the entire year) |

The Physics Club also offers tours of various local facilities and supports several lecture series. Tours have so far included facilities such as Ad Astra Rocket Company and George Observatory. |

The Physics Club is in the process of creating a “recitation type” study group for the Undergraduate Physics program. We will be willing for a small nominal fee (to help support the Physics Club), work similar problems as their homework to help raise the standard of Undergraduate Student and assist in the development of their future careers. |
