Computer Information Program
The CIS program is one of the programs housed in the School of Science and Computer Engineering (SCE), and offers a Master of Science degree and a Bachelor of Science degree in computer information systems. The BS degree is accredited by the ABET under the Information System curriculum. The CIS program is based on strong technical knowledge in computer science, especially in areas related to computer information systems such as database systems, Internet development, computer networking, Internet security, and software development. The Computer Science department offers degree programs in Bachelor of Science and Master of Science. The CS programs are based on a balanced curriculum of solid foundation in computer science and practical industrial technologies. The degrees are designed to prepare students to quickly be productive in their computing careers while acquiring the necessary foundation for life long learning in the rapidly changing computing professional landscape. Statistics Program      
The master of science in statistics is a blend of statistical theory and application. It complements the graduate program in mathematics. The statistics program focuses on an interdisciplinary curriculum design ensuring that the student acquires knowledge across a broad spectrum of the field. The primary objective is producing research and applications oriented professionals well trained in statistical methodology and inference who can interact effectively with professionals engaged in industrial, governmental or institutional research.

The department offers an excellent environment to study mathematics and statistics and their applications. It offers both undergraduate and graduate programs. The plan in Physical Sciences leads to the bachelor of science (BS) degree. The graduate plan in Physics leads to the master of science (MS) degree.
