Welcome School of Science and Computer Engineering Academic Advising

ADVISING ANNOUNCEMENTS

Starting Fall 2008  on the 12th day of class (September 8), any graduate degree-seeking student who does not have a complete file for acceptance into an SCE master’s program will lose graduate status and a hold will be placed on his or her ability to register for spring 2009 until all documentation has been received.  In SCE a complete file consists of all official transcripts including final semester(s) and grades, proof of bachelor’s degree and GRE score.  Some programs also require recommendation letters (Biotechnology) and/or personal statements (Environmental Science).

Also new this Fall 2008: STUDENTS MAY APPLY ONLINE FOR GRADUATION!

Students planning to graduate in December must complete an application for graduation by September 26.  For complete information and to Apply for Graduation Online, visit the web site at www.uhcl.edu/records or call the Office of Academic Records at 281-283-2484.
