Congratulations on your acceptance to the UHCL!  As the newest members of our community of scholars, all international and domestic students are encouraged to attend New Student Orientation and learn more about the UHCL experience and what you can do to ensure your success! By attending, students will gain a comprehensive overview of university policies, expectations and available resources. 

For our international students, we also encourage you to attend the New International Student Orientation which is tailored specifically to your unique needs. For more information click the “Additional International Orientation” on the left side bar.

2. Meet current students who know the ropes
3. Meet with your academic advisors and ask questions
4. Hear from faculty and staff in your program area
5. Beat the lines and buy your books before classes start
6. Have your ID made and get your parking pass
7. Find out about leadership opportunities
8. Ask any burning questions that you may have at the resource fair
9. Learn your way around campus
10. Learn about Academic Support Programs, Financial Aid, Understanding E-services, Technology at UHCL, Exploring your Major and Co-ops, Supporting students in college etc.)
