Student Organization Expo

Find out how you can get involved on campus!

Fall 2016
Wed, Aug 31, 11:00 am - 3:00 pm, Bayou Atrium II
Thu, Sep 1, 3:00 - 7:00 pm, Bayou Atrium II

Enhance your academic experience by getting involved! One way is to visit the Student Organization Expo. This event showcases UHCL’s 70+ active student organizations and honor societies, a major contributor to campus life. Held at the beginning of the fall and spring semester, the Expo gives the student body an opportunity to meet with organization officers and members. Students are encouraged to join organizations that fit well with their interests.

Some even take this opportunity to move outside their comfort zone by joining organizations whose mission and goals are new to them. Students are given an opportunity to join academic, cultural, professional, social, religious, and special interest organizations. Refreshments and giveaways are also given out at this event by the Student Life Office and participating student organizations.

Students that don’t seem to find an organization that is right for them are encouraged to explore the possibility of creating a new organization for others to join. Visit the student organization recognition website for more information. You may also visit the Student Life Office to meet with the Student Organizations Team for assistance in creating a new student organization.

FREE giveaways and refreshments will be given out at the event.
Stop by while supplies last!
