Who presents during the interest sessions?
Every year, we host guest presenters from all over Texas who work within the realm of leadership development every day. Workshops are presented by professionals, faculty, student affairs educators, and students.
What kinds of interest sessions will be held?
Leadership topics vary every year. Our Keynote Speaker, Nancy Hunter Denney, will present two sessions.
Programs are intentionally geared towards leaders at any level of development, whether you are a General Student Leader (on-campus leadership, seeking skills development, etc.), a Leader in the Workplace (seeking skills that are transferable/what employers expect, etc.), interested in Diversity and Leadership (awareness, programming, educating, etc.) or if you are an Advisor/Staff person seeking professional training and networking, staff wellness, etc.

What is the format of the interest sessions?
Interest sessions are typically very interactive, providing opportunities for hands-on experience and putting theory into application. Round-table discussion groups are also held to focus on specific topics regarding trends in leadership, campus programming, and leadership development.
