Research Interests
My primary research interests of a technical sort have all been in formal decision theory. I have published articles on how mathematical models and the use of game theoretic matrixes can integrate the standard spread of curricular subjects. Other articles and a book have dealt with formal models of decision theory and mathematical game theory can be used in educational administration. And I have a chapter in a recently released mathematical book on the history of game theory. I also have published a piece recently describing how Bayesian statistics might improve student grasp in certain areas of scientific study and decision-making. I also maintain a long interest in ethics, professional and otherwise and have recently published pieces on multicultural inclusion, religious tolerance and the concepts of truth, knowledge and the Great Conversation of Humankind. In addition to decision theory he has recently published an article on critical thinking in the journal Critical Thinking and Inquiry and is presenting a paper at the Association for Informal Logic and Critical thinking this year.
