PROGRAM COSTS

Fees (all fees are non-refundable)
- $60 Application Fee
- $120 TExES Fee for each state assessment to be taken. The TExES fee is for registration to take the TExES Content State Assessment.
- $52 paid to the State of Texas for the Probationary Certificate each year you are in the program
- $42.25 for background check and fingerprinting
Tuition Fees for any coursework required. This will be determined for your individual situation.
Tuition Fees for TCED 4768 and TCED 4769 Post-Degreed Internship I and II
Supervision Fee
- $3,000 for the first year will be taken out of your salary as a full-time teacher. The fee covers the following items:
  - Substitutes to cover your classes when you have a training session on campus
  - Substitutes to cover your mentor's classes when s/he has a training session on campus
  - University Supervisor's salary
  - Public School Mentor's stipend
  - University Supervisor's travel
- $900 for each additional semester needed to complete certification will be taken out of your salary. The fee covers the same items as above
