Standard Certificates Requiring a Master’s

Individuals who wish to serve in professional roles other than teaching must hold valid teaching certificates and complete the additional requirements set by the State and UHCL for the appropriate certificates. Upon completion of the requirements and recommendation by the SoE, the SBEC issues the certificates. The SoE offers plans leading to the following certificates that require a master’s degree:
