Child Care Licensing Specialist

• People in this position inspect and license childcare and other programs for children and make recommendations for improvement. This is a state position under Texas Department of Regulatory Services. There are central locations throughout the region out of which these specialists work. • Trainer, Referral and Support for Pre-School and Child Care Programs

• Community College Instructor for Child Development Courses
  Requires a master's degree in Early Childhood Education and three years of full time classroom teaching experience with young children. The master's program must include at least 18 hours of Early Childhood Education courses. Several of our ECE master's graduates are now teaching either full or part time at the following community colleges: San Jac Central and North, college of the Mainland, Alvin community College and Wharton Jr. College.
