Purpose
The purpose of the Accounting Association is to acquaint students having mutual interests, to attract professionals and recruiters from the accounting profession and other related fields to UHCL, and to perform service projects that will promote interest and achievement in accounting. The goal of this organization is to inform students of current changes in the accounting profession and prepare students for the transition between school and work. The Accounting Association is sponsored by the Institute of Management Accountants (IMA), a nonprofit organization representing people from many different professions in the business community. Students have an opportunity to participate in IMA’s resume service, community service activities, and more.

Membership Requirements
Membership is open to currently enrolled students or alumni in any major. Dues are $25.00 per semester.
