May 2007 - Club Biology won the award of "Most Improved Organization of the Year"! This is a very honorable award that highlights the commitment that we have seen from the officers and members of the club for the year of 2006-2007! Big thanks to everyone in the Club, we worked hard and are honored to accept this award! I wish the best of luck to next years Club and hope that Club Biology continues to grow and improve exponentially.

April 8, 2007: At the last meeting the club voted on the Cords Program. If anyone feels like they have been active in the Club and are interested in receiving graduation cords, its important that you contact me as soon as possible. We will be ordering the cords very soon and the cost will be somewhere around $10.
Upcoming Events:
MCAT seminar (Saturday, April 14th, 2007) - Starting 11:00 AM. Approx run time ~1 hr. We will be going over MCAT tips and tricks. Many people underestimate or just don't understand how challenging the MCAT is; therefore, members of Club Biology who have taken the MCAT will be giving you the inside info and answering all your questions about the test, review courses, ways to prepare, etc. We will also go over application strategy.
Houston Health Museum: (Sunday, April 15th, 2007) - Meeting at UHCL 1:00PM. We will be heading to the Health Museum and checking out the Human Brain exhibit (it looks awesome). The exhibit will cost $6. Then the Club is heading to a sushi restaurant for whoever wants to come! (avg price at restaurant ~$8 - $15)
