Purpose
HFMA is one of the nation’s leading personal membership organizations for financial management professionals employed by hospitals, managed care organizations, physician practice groups, public accounting firms, insurance companies, and government agencies. The UHCL student chapter is an affiliate of both the national HFMA and the Gulf Coast Chapter of HFMA. HFMA offers educational programs, networking opportunities, and news on current issues.
Membership Requirements
Membership is open to all who are interested in the field. Dues are paid through the Healthcare Student Association. Memberships in the Gulf Coast Chapter and the national chapters are also available at a reduced student cost.
