Religions of the World Series - ISLAM

Speaker: Dr. Sheikh Zubair, Imam of AbuBakr Masjid, Highway-3

Attendees - Most of the Faculty, Dean of Students, Heads of the Student Life and IISS and many Students

The wonderful lecture by Sheikh Zubair went a long way in clearing the misconceptions held by non muslims about Islam. The Sheikh explained the meaning of Islam, the beliefs and the deeds that are supposed to be done by Muslims. He also explained the much debated and negatively publicized topic of Status of Women In Islam, Hijab, Rights of Women and Jihad.
