SRC Purpose
The purposes of the Student Reading Council are: (1) to exchange ideas and techniques with regard to reading programs; (2) to encourage innovations and research in reading programs; (3) to provide service to literacy agencies in Harris and Galveston Counties; and (4) to sponsor conferences, meetings, workshops, and study groups designed to implement the group’s purposes. The Council is affiliated with the International Reading Association.
SRC Membership Requirements
Membership is open to all students, graduate or undergraduate, with an interest in reading and in furthering the Council’s purposes. Dues will be set by the executive board.
