2012 Piper Nominations

Previous Piper Nominees

The UHCL Piper Award Committee, composed of an equal number of students and faculty, selects one professor to be honored for excellence in teaching. This professor then represents the university in competition for the 2012 Minnie Stevens Piper Award, a prestigious and valuable teaching prize.

If you would like to honor an outstanding professor, fill out a nomination form and share that information with us. All faculty members with full teaching assignments are eligible except those on the selection committee.

Completed forms may be e-mailed to Nina Perez at perez@uhcl.edu from your UHCL e-mail account only. Completed paper nomination forms require a signature and may be submitted via

• Drop boxes located at the main entrance of all UHCL buildings
• Dropped off at Office of AVP for Student Services, B2523
• Mailed to UHCL box #349

Faculty and students are encouraged to nominate an outstanding professor.
