Accommodations  

Students may write their response for an oral recitation exam/assignment and have the presentation read by an interpreter.

Students may use an auxiliary aid, such as a word board or interpreter for classroom participation.

For students who are completely nonverbal, use of sophisticated electronic "speaking" machines are often used.
