UCT no longer recommends a PDA.  If you need a PDA type device, then you should look at a smart phone.  In order to access your university email and calendar the unit must run Microsoft Windows Mobile, version 5.0 or greater

We recommend that you purchase the following items for ease of use, protection of the unit and greater battery capability:  

• Power Adapter, you might look into two units, one for office and one for home and one for your car*
• Carry Case
• Two Year Extended Warranty (if possible)

*be aware that most smart phones are power hogs and need to be charged at least once a day or more if used a great deal during the day.
