Handy Travel Tips

*Southwest Airlines allows passengers to check up to two bags each, no heavier than 50 pounds, free of charge.

*Continental Airlines allows passengers to check a single bag for $15 and a second bag for an additional $25. Each piece is not to exceed 50 pounds.

*All airlines allow liquids in containers with a maximum capacity of three ounces in a carry-on item. All other
baggage must be checked.

*American citizens are not required to show a passport to visit Mexico until June 2009.

*All baggage for either Southwest or Continental Airlines must be 50 pounds or less to be checked without
additional fees.

*Upon traveling to Mexico, tourists visiting for more than 72 hours will require a Mexico Tourist Card, unless they stay within the official “Border Zone,” which extends
approximately 70 miles south of the border.

*Some car rental agencies do not allow persons under the age of 25 to rent vehicles; however, some have a minimum age of only 21 for an additional daily fee.
