The University of Houston-Clear Lake Psychological Services Clinic (UHCL PSC) is a
training and research clinic that serves the greater Houston-Galveston area. Graduate
students trained in evidence-based assessment and therapy deliver most of the services
under the direct supervision of professionally licensed and/or Ph.D.-level supervisors.
We currently offer the following services:
Individual Therapy* (for children, adolescents, and adults)
Marriage/Couples and Family Therapy
School-based Assessments (e.g., Learning Disabilities, ADHD, and autism)
The UHCL PSC also functions as a research clinic supporting faculty and student scholarship.
The Clinic also houses several specialty clinics that offer services for specific
populations or concerns, including the Center for Autism and Developmental Disabilities, which provides services to children with Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASDs) and extreme
*Medical treatment, medication management, crisis intervention, and primary substance
abuse treatment are not available through the UHCL PSC, though adjunctive counseling
for persons receiving psychiatric, substance abuse, or other treatment elsewhere may be possible on a case-by-case basis.
