Mathematics Sciences M.S.

The graduate plan in Mathematical Sciences leads to the master of science degree. This degree is designed to prepare the student for a career in industry or education. It also prepares the student for further advanced study in mathematics, statistics, operations research or other mathematically based disciplines. The course work combines classical mathematics and applied mathematics. The University of Houston-Clear Lake also offers a Master of Science in Statistics, the two programs sharing courses and faculty.

Admission Requirements

The minimum admission requirements for a graduate degree program, including on-line programs, are 1) 3.0 GPA, and 2) 290 GRE scores (150 Quantitative, 140 Verbal).
